About this site

AMC 10 Step by Step is a study site built by a parent for students aiming to qualify for the AIME. There are no ads and no data sales. Accounts exist so that your practice history, error log and recommendations follow you between devices. Everything built from contest material is free; an optional subscription pays for the AI tutoring described below.

The AMC 10 problems are copyrighted © by the Mathematical Association of America (MAA), as part of the American Mathematics Competitions. They are reproduced here, after each contest period, for non-commercial educational use under the reproduction permission printed on the contests. No complete contest booklets or printable papers are distributed.

The solutions, topic and technique tags, difficulty ratings, commentary and study materials on this site are original work and are not copied from any other source.

What is paid for

The problems, answers, written solutions, topic guides, practice sets, mock tests and progress tools are free to everyone and always will be. The only paid feature is the AI tutoring layer we built ourselves: graded hints that withhold the answer, and analysis of your own wrong answers. See Pricing.
